My name is Cary.

Before CARYHOLT ever existed, I was just a craftsman, a tailor working long hours, learning every detail of leather, stitching, and durability by hand. I didn’t start with a business plan. I started with skill, patience, and a deep respect for things that are built to last.

Everything changed during a trip to the Hawaii.

It was supposed to be a normal vacation, new places, new experiences. But one moment turned into something I’ll never forget. A close friend of mine lost his passport in a crowded area. Just like that gone. The panic, the stress, the feeling of being completely stuck in a foreign country… it hit us hard.

I remember thinking:
How can something so important be so easy to lose?

That moment stayed with me.

When I got back, I went straight to what I knew best designing and crafting. I didn’t want to create just another bag. I wanted to build something that solves a real problem. Something secure, close to the body, and impossible to forget or misplace.

So I started experimenting.

I combined traditional leather craftsmanship with a completely different carry concept- a harness system that distributes weight naturally across the body while keeping essentials locked in place, always within reach, but never exposed.

After months of trial and error, the first CARYHOLT harness bag was born.

It wasn’t just about storage anymore.
It was about protection. Control. Peace of mind.
